I live nearby and I have always been wanting to try it put but I often leave my place at 6am and opening time is at 7am. So whenever I do get enough time to stop by, its such a treat. the staff are very friendly the atmosphere is unmatched and beverages are incredible. Can't find another cafe in town that comes even close.
A charming local coffee shop with delicious paninis! I had the bacon, apple, and brie panini, and it was amazing! The value is great as well. You could spend the same or more at a fast food place and not get the same quality of food or coffee. I would come here every day if it was near my work.
The food, drinks and atmosphere are all top tier. Year round I find myself dropping by 3 times/week and you can tell the way the owners interact with everyone in line they truly care and enjoy serving their community. Couldn't recommend them enough!

Wonderful, lovely little place. I have lived nearby for the last almost 3 years but only recently got a chance to go since I had the day off of work and they are only open on weekday mornings and early afternoons. I ordered a ham brie croissant and an Americano misto. Both were excellent, well worth the money and short wait. The coffee here tastes so much better than some other local coffee shops that serve the more acidic coffee. I'll definitely be popping over on my breaks during the day from now on.
The fam and I LOVE visiting this local coffee shop! We always receive a warm welcome from the friendliest owners. If you’re looking for a small town vibe in the city, you’ll feel right at home. Plus they have excellent coffee and delicious food!
I visited Loft and Ladder during a recent trip to Victoria and this place is wonderful! The place is clean, beautifully decorated but most importantly declisious food and drinks! They had plenty of hot and cold drink options, I opted to try something I hadn't before and tried the Alchemist Brew tea - absolutely delicious! I also got the flour free peanut butter cookie. No photo because after one bite it was so good I devored it. If you like peanut butter, you NEED to try this!! The service was impeccable, super friendly and warm. If I lived in the area, I would absolutely be back! Alas, my next visit will have to wait till the next time I'm in Victoria.
The most delicious breakfast sandwich I've ever had and the cookies are scrumptious! Amazing customer service, staff is warm and friendly. My new favourite spot anytime I am in the area!
